Not a response per se, just a request not to tar all of us Christians with the same brush. I love playing RPGs with my kids and friends and I often teach in church. I don't see the two as mutually exclusive.
I agree totally, savagelegend. That is why no reference is made in the post to Christians, just Pat Robertson, specifically. You and I are in a similar boat. My high school education was in a Jesuit school, catholic college and Jesuit law school. I played RPGs all throughout without ever an objection from a school official. In fact, in high school, there was tacit approval because D&D had us reading a lot and in a foreign language (Spanish being our first language).
